I am a HUGE techno fan. I don't mean this weak-ass college boy house/hiphop rubbish they play in clubs here in 'Murika, I mean bangin', hard-ass TECHNO. The kind that makes you want to puke cos it fucks with your head so much. Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Laurent Garnier, Chris Leibing, etc. And my newest obsession, Thomas Krome.

I don't get much chance to talk about techno here, so for a complete rundown on the other types/bands, please consult any of the 2.3 million music threads I've hijacked with ScreamingLordByron and RandomKoolzip this past week. :D

I can't really say i'm totally into techno, but I can say I do enjoy it. I'm more of a hard rock/metal kid. :) (Edit: I like bands like Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Deftones, Alice in Chains, etc.)

Shortbus and I were discussing the Grotto earlier...I don't ever remember it being THAT bad, I mean other than the gratuitous amount of spankings. I don't think that's what the sex thread ban was intended for. I mean, for real, some of those threads were just....oookie.

I think you're right btw, that the Grotto was not usually that bad. Lots of innuendo and allusion to what happened in the Dungeon but nothing too specific. Bus and I took great pride I think is bein naughty while being vague enough not to piss Skinner off.

Anyway, my theory. I blame myself and short bus for the sex threads getting out of hand. And before he starts whining hear me out. We started the Grotto and got the ball rolling and then stopped opening it up most nights. We got everyone all het up and then pulled the rug out from under them. Without the "safe" environment of the Grotto and without bus and I to smack people into line if they got too graphic, people got WAY out of hand. The whole idea of the Grotto was to keep all the sex talk in one (well-controlled) place.

Of course, he wouldn't think so, but I think you're probably onto something. Although I have no idea what on earth "het" is. :D ;)
