What kind of person really infuriates you?

For me, it's an arrogant asshole who acts as though he's the only one in the world who knows anything, and treats other people like morons. AND, he frequently doesn't know what he's talking about.

Bullies. The folks you referenced in your OP often fall into the "mean-spirited" category. :hi:

they are just so self-absorbed they don't think of others at all. Mean spriited people are just evil.

they hate themselves and post/say mean hateful crap. Although it doesn't infuriate me it brings to our attention what is really up with the mean person.

I don't talk *that* much, the least he or she can do is listen.

Also, people who act bored in voluntary situations. If it's that boring- fucking leave already! And by extension, people who post in threads that bore/anger them for the sole purpose of leaving a gigantic turd in the middle of an otherwise agreeable thread.

post something hateful just to humiliate or something. What's with them, anyway? Mad at the world or something?

I know this guy who will try to anticipate what you're saying and will talk over you. I wonder if he's trying to "Jinx" me, like a kindergartner.


I agree about the arrogant assholes. But at least they're easily identifiable. I hate people that are overly nice to your face, and vicious gossips behind your back. The people that seem to live to attack others.

Its harder to forgive than people who are mean to other people.

Animals need our protection because they can't protect themselves.

who aren't responsive to the needs of others and constantly must be the center of attention. They're drama queens of the first order. I bolt for exit on these people at the first opportunity. I can't stand them. Period.

Also, people who mope around and whine and complain all the freaking time. I mean everyone has a bad day here and there but there's no reason to ALWAYS be like that.

Several people that I know (or their wives) come to mind. I want to shake people like that and ask them if these things make them better people. :banghead:

You know, the kind of people that think that their life should be the template for everyone. Whether in regards to religion, ethnicity, sexuality, gender issues, etc, etc, we should all be allowed to make our own decisions and live our lives how we decide is best for us.

1) People who have to be the center of attention every single second of the day. "Look at me, look at me, look at me!!!!!" I used to have this psycho friend like this - it was like she couldn't stand it if everyone in the room was not completely 100% fixated on her, so she would do almost anything to make sure that happened. She didn't even care if it was positive attention, just as long as it was all about her.

2) Rule followers. The kind that get fixated on whatever the "rules" say or what somebody in authority told them to do and use that as an excuse not to think for themselves, or think about whether what they are doing actually makes sense or addresses the problem the rule is meant to fix. I want to shake them and say, "Damn it, you have a brain! Use it!"
