Our kitties are sitting on the screened porch now hoping a little gecko sneaks in under the door. Then they'll bring it in and put it in the "arena" (bath tub) and bat it around until I rescue it ... hopefully before it's all used up. It all depends on how fast I am. :shrug:

but lizard and snakes I always have to rescue, and not from Ginger. He doesn't really seem interested in them, but my mom cats are. Most of them even sit around my ponds waiting for frogs ...

Satchmo brought in a little black racer once. It looked like a mustache the way it was hanging out of his mouth. So I picked him up, snake and all, took him outside, and told him to drop it. Thank goodness, the snake slithered under the screen door and never came back. I bet he told all his friends about it!

74. We were pretty shocked to see it.

We always wear boots, jackets, helmets, gloves ... everything. Even in 90 degree weather. Around here, it's common to see them ride with shorts, halter tops or t-shirts, and sneakers. :scared:

No, we're not packing yet. Harleydad is getting ready to go up to TN and sign a contract with the builder, though. That's pretty exciting! We're building this house, but reversed and with a sunlight basement on the sunroom side.

36. We're not used to paying heating bills.

This looked like a great way to keep the energy consumption low. We got a customized plan to increase the efficiency, too. I'll take pics during the progress and when it's all done ... but you'll have to wait a while. It's not getting started until September. I'm glad you like it! :bounce:

The buyer came over today to show his parents the house. He was SO cute! He's very excited. :D And he said we could close any time, even though the current date is for June 15. Harleydad still needs to find a job and we have to find a rental. We're knocking things off the list one at a time ... or else we'd lose our sanity (what's left of it). :silly:

Give into temptation, I always say! :D My Mom's coming in a few weeks for her last hurrah in FL. I'll put her to work packing. :evilgrin:
