4. It's in someone's basement :)
My beautiful kitchen table hasn't had a home since spring 2003, when I moved out of the place I'd been living in for 7 years. I lived in a small room upstairs at a friends' house for two years, while I was mostly roving around the country, then moved into a very small condo in Cambridge. My kitchen table is now in a friend's basement in Somerville. Someday I'll get a geek job again, have some money, and get a place big enough to have a kitchen table - these campaign jobs just don't pay for that sort of thing :/

But your table looks good!

(Though I don't actually celebrate any holidays that involve meals at home - all my holidays are "away" holidays)

7. After all the years of cooking
I could certainly appreciate an "away" holiday. Can't wait for
my daughter to marry and take over the job.

Dinningrooms are a waste except for a holiday meal. So I do try
to use it.

Most of the time its the couch and a T.V. tray.

Have a Happy Easter anyway wherever you chose to sit.

12. Thanks for the good thoughts!!!!
I was invited to my sister's for dinner, and stopped in post-dinner at a friend's, who had also invited me.

I make certain to stop and eat. It is damn necessary.

Moving IS an activity to be dreaded, I agree.
