They did bring you the eggs, didn't they? Because they can't just knock over the Easter bunny for sport. That would be trophy hunting. But, if they got the eggs, that's okay. :P

10. Oh now..I can see you've had this experience yourself :)
We checked them for fleas and buried it in the backyard after an hour and so. They have been strutting around all day. Big stuff. Bonding experience for the three of them.

They'll be back at tearing after each other in about an hour.

13. My parents had a cat who hunted rabbit.
She brought one home once that was bigger than she was! Its head was already gone when she brought it home, but she sat on the porch and finished the whole thing off in no time. I didn't watch.

We feed ours raw ground rabbit, but I doubt they'd recognize a bunny running around as food. It probably smells different. :D

16. Most of the time they prowl. And b/c they are fed regularly, usually
they take after small rodents. But my male cat would take after anything. He thinks he's a cheetah. I can't seem to disabuse him of the notion.

But she was a barn cat before she was a house cat. And she LOVED fresh meat! :9

At least you won't ever have to worry about mice running across your kitchen floor. :bounce:

18. My sister's German Shepherd did that once.
They had a bunny they named Willie. They kept him in a cage in the barn. One day while their dog, Chief, got into the barn and nearly tore the cage apart trying to get to poor, terrified Willie. My sister rescued him, but a few days later Chief got him. Poor Willie. :(

you can dress them up all cute and stuff, but at the end of the day they are still wired to do stuff like that. just accept that and move on, thats what i do

I had a cat that once killed a baby bunny, too. I tried to rescue the bunny, to no avail.

That cat surely went to Kitty Hell, too.

24. My girl "Angel" is very fond of rabbits.


Here she is with the catch of the day. Needless to say I have no problems with rabbits getting into my garden.

35. I've got three indoor kitties and they live in harmony with our bunny.
Well, the little feisty female kitty will bop the bun on the head if he gets too close to her. The middle-aged male is afraid of the bunny (!), and the young male pals around with da wabbit.

36. Baby bunnies are especially tasty
At least our cats seem to think so. But lately we've been having a run on garter snakes--one of the outdoor cats catches them and brings them to the indoor cats to play with. Three snakes in the last two days--I can't decide if we're having some kind of a snake population explosion or if the cat's just gotten very good at catching them.
