Welcome to the Monday edition of the Early Morning Crew thread! :bounce: It's good to be back home now after being away for a week! Greekspeak and I had a VERY good, relaxing Easter Sunday and I hope you did also. Now, we begin another work week and today is the last day of my vacation. You know the problem with vacations, right? They are ALL too damned short and seem to just fly by at warp speed.

I posted this in yesterdays thread, but I want to thank SeattleGirl again for taking over the Morning Crew thread while I was gone! I know she did a fantastic job! :loveya:

It looks like it's going to be a another beautiful day down here as far as the weather goes! Sunny and 88 degrees! I hope it's going to be as nice where you are!

Did you have a good day yesterday?

I was a bit ouchie from working in the yard on Saturday but after I said "I'm not mad at anybody but it's a good day to leave me alone" things went quite well.

We all have days like that. I happy everything went well in the end!

I even got it together enough to cook supper and join everyone at the table instead of having supper in-bed again. :)

But then I heard it was really bad for the liver.
Managing to live with pain without drugs is better. Sometimes I give up and take a pill. I take Advil. If I've really pushed myself too far without realizing it or the weather is bad, I can resort to prescription meds that I still have around.

I'm sorry you felt like that yesterday, but I'm glad things went better after that. :hug:

It is a wise person who heeds my warning and goes to a movie or grocery shopping. :evilfrown: But it passes. :)
It's better than it was in the past when the pain lasted forever. It wasn't always easy to be around me. :(

But we do need to make phone dates, I never carry the darned thing around unless I'm expecting a call. I don't care for having changing cell tower transmissions sending signals through my left boob :scared: somehow it just doesn't seem like the best idea.

I am sitting here missing MrG because he had to go back to work today. We had a great day yesterday, although I feel like I spent the better part of it in the kitchen. :)

That's so sweet! Thank you! I missed everyone here too. You don't really know how much you rely on things until you don't have them anymore. There were a couple of mornings I woke up and thought to myself that I needed to get some coffee and get on DU. It took a minute to remember that I didn't have a computer to get to DU ON.

I'm ok; doing both my show and a bunch of programming for the week before I go back to work on Tuesday. I hope you had a grea Easter weekend; are you back in Seattle?

Had a wonderful time. Very busy, though. Did lots of cleaning at mom's on Saturday. Dhe recently got out of the hospital, and still doesn't have much energy. I'm tired and sore from it, but it's fine. It was a total labor of love. Plus I got to spend time with my sibs, and that's always a good thing!

I've got about another hour before Mrs. E wakes up and I'm going to maker her breakfast; she's got a long day at work today. Then I'm headed for dreamland:)

It's going to be a beautiful day today! 72 degrees and sunny. :) Too bad I have to sleep. :( I work nights, so I'm not up during the day usually. That's going to be a problem for me as the weeks progress (I need to find a new job).

I didn't care working nights during the winter, but doing it in the summer is going to be hell.

I need to find a new job, and quick.

For about 5 years, I worked 2am to 10am and slept from around 10:30am to 7pm. THAT sucked too. I know how you feel.

Glad you made it back safe and sound. It's nice having a day or two to relax before having to go back to work.

Good to see you again, Man! Yes, Tallahassee weather was this way too when I left. It's only going to stay this way and get warmer as we get into May and June. We're off to a brand new week. We had an excellent day yesterday! We finally hit the hiking trail! It was beautiful and the weather was perfect. I'm glad it's not cold anymore and I saw the sun so I know it still exists, lol.

Have a great last day of vacation, I hope you are rested, it's easier for me to go back with a new attitude if I get some good R and R.

It's beautiful here, too. I just got up. What a night! Harleydad left for TN at around 1:00 AM. So I was sleepless and hung around here for a while. The kitties just woke me up.

It's funny how quiet it feels today. Normally, it would be just another working day and he wouldn't be here. But knowing he's so far away really makes it feel quiet. And the kitties all ate their breakfast, washed their faces, and went back to bed. :loveya:

Pics, please. :D We have a bungee thingy that looks like a net. Makes it so a bag can sit in the back seat. Yeah, we have a tour pack, but harleydad says it's not cool (I think it's cool!) ... and he only puts it on when I'm riding with him (it has a great back rest).

Now there's a good question! If everything goes well, he'll head home Friday night or Saturday morning. OK, maybe that doesn't mean everything went well. Maybe he'll have to go for a second interview and have to stay until Monday. If he has time, he'll be looking for a house for us to rent while ours is being built. I told him he has a lot of details to iron out -- like he didn't already know that! :rofl:

You didn't stop for naps or anything? The thing with harleydad is that he gets all excited the night before a trip and can't sleep. So he ends up leaving in the middle of the night when he's tired but wired. Fortunately, he knows enough to pull over and take short naps. But I still worry about him. Now that he's had breakfast and it's daytime, he's good to go. He's going to take a detour to visit the land before he heads to harleykid's. I'm SO jealous!
