I like Pickler. She cracks me up. I knew alot of girls like her when I lived in NC.

Dialidol says so at least, and I believe them on this. Paris and Chris supposedly were in the bottom three, unless you believe that the producers throw curve balls to increase the drama.

To increase drama, and to manipulate votes....

I think if Kellie was safe this week, she could be in the top 2. I mean really.

We laughed hysterically.... because even though we like Kellie, we were imagining Simon and Nigel's heads exploding!

It could be between her and Taylor.. Katharine or Chris has some chance of getting in instead of Kellie.

She just gets on my last nerve.

Some people will figure out it's phony, others will get sick of it. It was cute for about a minute. Nobody is that mindless. I think Chris will win, or maybe Katherine McPhee. Although I'm rooting for Taylor.

I think his sensitive look is what got on my nerves the most... my SO said you can tell he practices it in the mirror. EVen Paula hasn't been flirting with him for a few weeks!

Kelly has an amazing personality and not a bad voice - we adore her.

But then Ace's performances started sounding similar, and I realized that while he's decent at what he does, he's quite limited. I predicted him to leave.

Kellie doesn't have much power in her pipes, but no one left is really untalented IMO.

It has a nice reedy quality, and she's proven the last two weeks she can sing without the heavy accent. I think she has lot of natural talent.

A few months of proper voice lessons, and I think she would be very marketable.

and sometimes she'll give a ballad some personality.. but personally, I think there are a lot of aspiring country singers that are better. She can be charming with that accent. :hi:

He had a whole bunch of people fooled into believing that it didn't matter how bad he was as long as he could fake nice. I think she's as phony as a three dollar bill and she can't even sing.

Actually think Kellie is the best. I'm wondering if we are watching the same competition.

she definitely isn't the best singer in the competition.

Neither is Chris for that matter. He CAN sing, but he doesn't have a lot of range.

Katherine is very good, but her control slips every once in awhile.

Elliot isn't perfect, but he has a very good sound, control, and range that lends itself to serveral genres.

Paris is really really good, but she must never never never talk.

Taylor is the most entertaining and has a modicum of talent.

I thought Elliot, Kellie, Paris should've been in the bottom 3.

I know that he's not the easily marketable gem they need to pimp to their predominantly younger audience, so he doesn't have a chance in hell of winning, but the more exposure he gets, the better. His voice really has lots of soul, and he's the first contestant since the show started whose CD I'd actually buy...

I think his voice is one of the weakest of the bunch.

I didn't really like him too much until I was out of the room cooking while he was singing and wasn't distracted by his Goober Pyle appearance.

The man has a fantastic voice.

This week was the only time Elliott ever connected with me. Katharine's my favorite. But there's never going to be total agreement about AI.

There are very few singers who have the ability that Elliott has. I, too, would buy his CD.

I make it a point now to close my eyes while he is singing and am still impressed every single time.

I'm a HUGE Elliott fan. I've even got a little crush on him, elfin as he may be.

Btw Taylor in my opinion is the dark horse in the contest

I am not of fan of either chris or paris. But I thought the bottom three would be ace elliot and Kelly. American people can't vote can they?

I like Chris and Paris by far over anyone else.

would have redeemed itself by getting rid of that hackneyed fraud called Bush Taylor Hicks...but I will settle for Ace--the second most annoying idol.

Also it would have been nice to see the Frat Pukes loose their money and junk instead of the Hippies on Amazing Race, but I will write the night up as a win.

Although I can't believe that Taylor Hicks was safe. He and Ace were my bottom two choices.

Because she really, truly screwed up her performance. Even Simon went easy on her. She got ahead of the band, lost her timing, and should have been sent home for it. She's a cute, personable little thing, though, and that saved her.

Elliot is probably the most talented MUSICIAN of the bunch. His voice is like an instrument, his timing and phrasing are outstanding. He might make a good songwriter someday, too.

My favorite is Taylor Hicks. He's an original. I believe he's getting the most votes each week now. People really dig his wild-ass hopping and jiving. I'd pay money to see him perform.

Catherine is a star. What a beautiful girl, and what a voice. She oughta be in pictures -- the camera loves her. (Yikes, I sound like Paula!)

The rest make me shrug.

Kellie - Eh. Her dumb "routine" is getting quite tiresome and irritating. She is definitely not the dumb girl she pretends to be. But it's working for her so far. The judges do go easier on her even when she's totally screws up.

And that was just what I thought about Elliot - his voice is like a lovely instrument.

But Taylor Hicks is the one who makes so many people smile when they see and hear him. I'd pay to see him perform and buy his cd's. He is a complete performer and his voice is wonderful.
