I dunno; my own suggestion was direct-to-video king Richard Grieco, and I'm sticking with him. Vote Other by replying below (Sorry!)

Because I've worked with him and he is insane, and I mean that in a clinical diagnosis sort of way. Not a very good director, either. But he's found his niche, and he seldom goes over-budget, so he'll always have work.

Adam Sandler is another way of saying to me "STAY AWAY", but people seem to like him for some reason. Maybe when I find out why, I'll be a better person.

Matthew McConaughey is another guy who has found his niche. He's not terrible, and he can be downright fun (Age of Fire, for example).

Michael Ironside.... what can you say. He's the poor man's Jack Nicholson. And he's so prolific! If you resolved to never see a movie with Michael Ironside in it, you'd better find another hobby. Again, sometimes he's fun, too (Twist of Faith, "V", Total Recall).

Schwarzenegger is an icon. Politics aside, you know that the odds are that you're going to be entertained by pretty much anything he's in. I mean, he's a living, breathing cartoon. He's been in the USA for how long? And he still has that ridiculous accent. Plus he's in huge-budget movies, so even if the plot and acting stink, you know you're going to get a fire-engine chasing a tower crane, or a horse jumping into a highrise pool, or something nuts like that.

How can you include John Carpenter in this list? I have two words for you: The Thing. Want two more? The Fog. And why not another two words, for good measure: They Live. Pfft. Gimme a break. John Carpenter rules!

I'm not even going to comment on your inclusion of Kubrick.

M. Night Shabadoo is pretty awful. He's a one-trick pony, and we saw the trick in the "I see dead people" movie, whatever that was. I saw unbreakable and Signs, and wanted to kill myself right there in the theatre.

Segal, Van Damme..... b-rate Schwarzeneggers. Segal and Van Damme can't act to save their lives, but at least Segal acknowledges it. Van Damme (who I have worked with) is a pretentious, arrogant dickhead who really believes he's a brilliant thespian.

Stallone. I never understood his appeal. Ever. A repulsive, funny-looking troll who mumbles through everything. I don't get it.

While Boll has received a lot of negative publicity regarding this funding method, he was actually one of the few directors to use the tax shelter as intended. His films were financed, produced, and directed by a German company, which was the initial intention behind the tax shelter: to provide incentive for German companies to invest in entertainment properties. Regardless of the law's intention, most of these German film funds ended up funneling money to American studios to finance American blockbusters. The law merely required that the movie's copyright be owned by a German company; thus studios would "sell" a movie's rights to a German company, then immediately lease the movie back for a small fee, while the German owners would agree to very limited control. Essentially, the German company would own the movie on paper, but have no say over its production. <4> Because of this, in January 2006, as had been expected for several months, the German legislature changed the country's tax laws to eliminate the tax shelter. <5> It is not known if this will have any effect on Boll's funding as the new laws only seek to punish investors who are abusing the law for tax purposes; Boll's activities appear to be well within the legitimate usage of the tax shelter.

Shyamalan's film before "Sixth Sense," "Wide Awake," I actually enjoyed.

Writing & directing Dead or Alive & Castlevania, writing & producing Resident Evil 3 and producing Driver. Plus he's hoping to adapt Grand Theft Auto at some point.

God I hate him.

P.T. Anderson managed to pull a solid performance out of him.

I didn't like him in that, and I was disappointed to learn that Anderson is a fan of his.

Even when he was playing it straight, he always seems like he's '' this close to mugging at the camera.

Maybe I'm judging him too harshly, and then I think "The Waterboy", "Big Daddy", "Eight Crazy Nights", and so many more, and I wand to judge him even more harshly.

That's my favorite movie he was in.

Some of his movies are quite good, and certianly not as sucky as many others.

I think Wesley gets Denzel's rejected scripts.

Just as profoundly unfunny as Pauly Shore, but he also manages to come across as condescending to his own audience! Quite a feat for someone with so little talent.
