76-year-old Fla. man arrested for providing free door-to-door breast exams
Philip Winikoff walked up to the door of the Lauderdale Lakes apartment carrying a black medical bag.

He told the woman inside he was a doctor from ''North Miami Hospital,'' going door- to-door offering free breast exams.

But authorities say the 76-year-old Winikoff was no doctor. And the medical bag wasn't his, but his wife's. She is a registered nurse.

On Wednesday, Broward sheriff's deputies arrested Winikoff on charges of sexual battery and simple assault. Winikoff allegedly fondled the breasts of two women and then sexually assaulted them.

Somebody shows up at your door, out of the blue, and offers free breast exams? Who in their right mind is going to fall for that?

''Perhaps these women, these victims, didn't have this type of healthcare opportunity in their country of origin,'' Graf said. ``Maybe they felt this was something not uncommon, but whatever reason they had for becoming victims certainly doesn't take away from the heinous nature of the crime.''

6. Only a new immigrant believes that our healthcare system is so efficient
that we offer door-to-door breast examinations. Once the immigrants have been here a while, they learn what all Americans know, that our healthcare system is no different from the system they left behind. It serves only the rich.

Because it was a direct link to the artist's home page and he had since updated it with a newer, non-immigration piece, suddenly making my link irrelevant.

I'm sure it's still out there somewhere in cyberspace, so if I find it, I will put it back in.
