BTW, I wore my "gay? fine by me?" t-shirt (see http://www.finebyme.org) to teach my class last Tuesday. Our topic for the day was prejudice and discrimination so it seemed appropriate. Plus we had a gay alum on campus that day giving a convocation about how he established the first LGBT support group on our campus back in the early 80's. Today the group is called the Gay-Straight Alliance, which I think is a great title.
