Rolling Stones in Shanghai told not to play certain songs

but it wasn't because they were subversive. Our fly on the wall recording tells the real story...

Official: You have never played in mainland China before...
Mick: Yes
Official: We have all waited decades for you to perform...so here are the conditions for your performance...
Mick: okay
Official: First, we all know that your work after Exile on Main Street was unadventurous and derivative so 80% of your set must be pre-1976. If you play anything from the disco era, we will shut off the PA.
Mick: Mmmmm.
Official: And if you play anything from your crappy solo albums, we will put your scrawny butt in jail...stuff from Keith's solo albums will be toleratd because it at least has an angry rocking grit to it but "She's the boss"? What the hell were you thinking?
