I'm soothing my loneliness with pizza.
:(

I feel so down lately. Maybe it's stress or worry. Just ate half a take out pizza.

ask me anything. :)

5. I'll be okay.......
I get into these funks.....I'm just super sensitive and can never seem to turn the worry off about...well, anything. If I'm not worrying about something for the moment, I CHOOSE something to worry about.

God, I need to learn how to relax. :)

Worry is like a rocking chair
It give you something to do
But it doesn't get you any where.

I don't know who said it, but it certainly makes sense to me.

29. I do the same thing
I worry even when I have nothing to worry about. It is almost like I am not happy unless I am worried. I have to remind myself constantly not to do this. Usually it works, especially if it is late at night and I can't do anything about it anyway. Pizza definitely helps but beer helps more!

16. I'll check it out.....
I love coming onto DU and shooting the breeze here. This community is really so supportive. :hi:
I've got my family and friends, of course, but somehow I just want to relax and chill a bit and step away from them. I tend to do that a bit when a lot's on my mind. :)

10. good pizza is a real treat
Edited on Thu Apr-20-06 06:33 PM by faithnotgreed
hope you enjoyed it
and sorry for how youre feeling

there are many who experience just what you describe - anxiety, worry - and they feel there isnt one thing they can pin it on
my partner has worked on that for a long time
for her some herbal alternatives and expressing long-suppressed anger/sadness have helped but i know its varied for everyone

hope you have some good support whether online or in person

13. thanks....
the treat was very satisfying. :)

Yes, I'm working on trying to resolve what's always bugging me. Don't always want to feel so anxious about things, I have to learn to give myself some credit.

11. as a fellow depressioner (is that a word)
I actually took comfort in a horoscope i had one day..Liked it so much i saved it

Sometimes the more you struggle, the tighter your bonds become -- especially if your struggles are mostly emotional ones. It's time to relax and observe the circumstances before trying to change them

the last thing you said, you have to take time to relax and observe the circumstances before trying to change them makes SO much sense right now.

32. I love my family and friends.....
but sometimes you need, well, a mate, or a companion to talk all your hopes and fears over with and who will understand.

Or even just somebody to talk things over with, world events, you name it. I feel not many people I know really share my interests or outlook. When you feel "different" you can feel lonely. :(
