My younger sister is 45.

I am 49.

My older sister would have been 52 last tuesday. Breast cancer took her last April.

Don't mean to bring down the thread, I have dealt with it.

Hug those siblings and tell em ya love em while ya can!!

Though I was the defacto leader among my siblings.

Edit- leader should be read as dictator. I was a little tyrant.

11. Another middle child
I started off as the second of four kids, then got yet another older sibling (stepbrother) and eventually a half-sister.

The joke about middle children, at least according to one book on birth order that I've read, is that we're the least photographed members of the family. The eldest was special, of course, and got all his/her firsts recorded in the family photograph album. The baby also stands out in many cases. Then there's that stretch in the middle...

14. Yes I'm a middle child
I'm glad too because I was left alone to discover the world on my own. My older brother was constantly pushed to be perfect and he wasn't and my younger brother was always praised while I was ignored most of the time.
