9. I've never been a fan of hers

And my 9 year old son could not stand her-- he was jumping up and down when she got the boot. I thought she was kind of fake too, but I didn't want to pile on.

10. I am at work so I didn't see the show

but I called up after it was over and my mom said she was cheering when Pickler got booted. My mom didn't like her either.

My mom loves Katherine and I love Chris.
I hope it's those two in the finals two.

30. He's very entertaining.

He didn't have a great performance this week, though. It seemed like it wasn't the right song for his voice range.

I only watch when I am baby sitting my niece. I generally dont watch it on wed nights because I just started watching Ghost Hunters. Pickler annoyed the heck out of me. I am glad she's gone.

I think the judges and I are the only ones who liked Paris' rendition of "The Way We Were" (every one I've talked to in person who watches the show seemed appalled by it). Well, maybe enough liked it to put her through to next week. I'm still rooting for Taylor to win the whole thing, though (sorry, tuvor :) ).

27. I'm actually surprised she got booted this time around

She survived two horrendous performances during the Queen and American Songbook weeks basically because her uncritical fan base was strong enough to carry her.

Given that type of fan loyalty, and also since Paris has been in the bottom a few times already, I really didn't expect Paris to outpoll Pickler despite Kellie's butchering of this week's showcase.

She definitely deserved to go last night. I just didn't think she'd be eliminated until next week when all the remaining contestants had a fan base just as strong as Kellie's and she wasn't going to be able to coast on her "dumb blonde" persona.
