Liz Taylor 'close to death'
08:42am 27th April 2006

Liz Taylor is facing death after her heart began to fail, it has been reported.
The Oscar-winner, 74, is confined to her bedroom and has apparently planned her funeral.

Insiders say the British-born star would like to be buried next to former husband Richard Burton.

"Liz is inching closer to death every day and she knows it. It is not a pretty picture," a friend said.

How sad. I still remember when she turned 50. I know she's always been frail, but she always seemed like a kind soul to me. Best wishes for a strong recovery. I hope this story is wrong.

1. If True, This is Very Sad
Liz Taylor has always been a favorite of mine.

She is, most of all, a kind soul -- gentle and caring.

And those eyes.........

She is a truly a great beauty and a real movie star. One of a kind.

5. I hope it's wrong, also.
She's cheated death several times over the years.

I've admired her for a long time. Absolutely tireless in her work with AIDS awareness and raising money for AIDS research.

I'm so sorry to hear this.
