Positive energy needed this way

Some of you might recall this photo of my bestest friend and I from a couple months back. It's a cliché, but Jed really is the kind of guy who'd give you the shirt off his back. (Nobody wants to see him nekkid though. He often uses that as a threat.)

Last week, Jed's blood pressure spiked and one of his kidneys shut down. He's been in hospital and was supposed to be released a few days ago, but I found out today they found a tiny bit of cancer on that kidney. He's scheduled for surgery Wednesday.

He'll be okay, but I want him to be better than okay. I've never had a friend like Jed.

Please aim a few good vibes to the Monterey Peninsula for my man. Thanks. :hug:

The one thing that kept him from being a better reporter is he's too damned nice. Still, that endeared him to a lotta people, and he got information other reporters couldn't get.

my step-momhas been fighting the nasty C for almost 4 years now... last week being unable to take her treatment as her counts were now too low/
