Spent a few hours removing my neighbors from my fence, trees, rose bush, etc.

1. Don't know about ground cover, but
It makes a nice outfield wall.

5. I'm planting some today...
Our winters are cold enough to keep ivy in check. There are only one or two cultivars that will survive here at all, and you have to plant them in a sheltered spot.
