20. Perry! My grandma lived there for years and years.
We used to play on her beach and find smooth lake glass and shards of smoothed pottery from ship wrecks. In the early 70s, there were dead fish galore. I remember when they built the plant; god that was depressing.
It was really tough for me to walk through the shifting sand (quite a distance from where we barbecued) but when we got to see that sunset, it was worth every step. Notice that I'm hiding my cane behind EP in that first picture!! It helped having the cane to keep my balance thru the sand, but I was wiped out when we got back to the car! I passed out for most of the ride home - thank goodness for my sweet driver. :loveya: :loveya: :loveya: :loveya:
Oh, how I wouldn't mind being near a beach at all! (one of very few beaches around here had a trail derailment last year...major oil spill :grr: Fricking CN rail had waaay too many crashes and dumped all sorts of crap into the waters of AB and B.C.)
Just gorgeous; thanks for sharing them.
You two look great together...your faces are bright and IN LOVE!!!:loveya:
