I read the best book yesterday from cover to cover and
burned the chicken on the grill cause I couldn't put it down. "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd is the book. I don't remember buying it, but there it was on my bookshelf. Could've been something my daughter brought with her on a visit and left for me to read. Whatever the case, it is an excellent read. A wonderful story about the sacredness of self and the similarities of all creatures. We humans really are not so different from honeybees.

4. Yes, an excellent book! I had a hard time putting it down as well!
Now reading "Rules of the Wild" by Francesca Marciano, about some Europeans in Nigeria in the 1990s, and it's easily as much of a page turner, beautifully written gorgeous prose that you just sink right into kind of book as "Secret Life of Bees".
