How is it that people think I don't know about these things? I should surprise them all and not show up.

3. I hate surprise parties
And everyone who knows me knows what would happen if they threw one for me. I'd walk out of it. I've never understood why it's considered fun to (attempt to) blindside people. Why not just throw a party for them and tell them about it?
