Sausage and Peppers?

When the bills got the best of my Ma, she would whip this up with fresh Italian bread.
Never a dissapointment in our house.

4. Add some fresh garlic in the mix too.
Its pretty simple. Fry up the Italian sausage, then add the veggies about half way through the process, cook till veggies are soft and sausage is cooked and its done and GOOD!

I'm doing fine Peg. Thank you for asking!
How are you doing?

7. maveric COOKS!
My Sicilain Ma and Nanna taught me well. They were concerned that I'd marry a non-Sicilian/Italian, and would "never eat right". I did marry someone of that group and ended up doing about 80% of the cooking for the entire 18 year marraige.
Sicilian Ladies are sooo funny when it comes to food.

3. You know...
A lot of "poor" meals are the best.

I always love a nice big pot of pinto beans and corn bread.

Hell I love a nice big bowl of Mac'n Cheese with diced weiners.

5. Oh yes! My Irish Dad would make "Poor Irish Feast", when money was low.
Slice up a lb of hot dogs and a few potatoes, fry togeter with a little oil, add a sliced onion about half way through. Salt & pepper to taste.
We kids loved it!

8. Oohhhh. Maybe I should save the salmon for tomorrow night.
I have Italian sausage, peppers and a large onion. And there is some good bread frozen in the freezer.
