We're in drought condtion, and the sound is beautiful.

Went through the same thing a couple of years ago, including a spring that went dry. Know how you feel. Enjoy the rain.

2. The 4 1/2 month drought broke here (E. OK) 10 days ago, it's rained

11 inches since then. I believe I can hear the grass growing. ;-)

4. panhandle of amarillo, we finally got rain a couple weeks ago. 2 dAYS

i thought it really got the flwers adn grass. friday and sat. by sunday i had newly planted flower wilting. tues they were dying. didnt get it. watered, they perked up. i though, but two days rain. hubby said three quarters inch. bah hahahahaha. i thought we had really gotten something. had some last weekend. was a good feeling.

dry here, for months. no snow, no rain. i think like 2 inches in 6 months.

3. That's good to hear.

Our rain season is over for the 7 months.
Southern California had very little rain this winter.
Northern California was deluged with rain.

I love the rain, especially at night.
