My four month old laptop died last night
So after struggling with service techs, computer drama and two trips across town, I have finally got my 5 year old emachines pos desktop working. There's a reason I gave this thing to the kid, but I have to deal with it for the next three weeksor so while Sony rebuilds my baby.

So I finally get done, wander off to the kitchen and realize I'm one ingredient shy of anything that sounds good for dinner. None of the restraunts 'round here are veg-friendly, so not I either have to go to the grocery and get stuff for dinner, which after fucking with the computer I don't want to do, or go way out of my way to get dinner someplace. Yay.

1. Well, crud.
That doesn't sound like any fun at all. Sorry to hear it.

And I hear you on the dinner thing--I'm one ingredient shy of everyhing today. I'm thnking of smartdogs & sweet potato "fries" with some chipotle dip (but I'm going to have to go to the store even for that.)

2. 4 months old?
Make sure you save all your receipts & note any repairs or attempts at repairs made on your laptop... several years back, I had major problems with an almost brand new PC - first it was one thing, then another, then another. Finally, it sat on a repair shop shelf for weeks waiting for a new part when I contacted my state dept. of consumer protection. They said I was covered under the state's Lemon Law and I got a brand new PC the next day.
