5. I wear a size 7 3/4
If I buy a 7 1/2, it's tight so I usually buy an 8. And, by the end of the day, they don't want to stay on my feet. Which is fine if they're flats...but if they're heels, that can be a problem.

35. waterskiing was invented in Minnesota
and it seems like every kid tries it at least once. I've done it a few times myself, but I'm no pro at it. But when you live in a state with 18,000 lakes, chances are you're going to spend some time up on the skis, getting towed around a lake by a speedboat.

29. Size 10-10.5
The shoes I'm wearing now are Dr. Martens oxfords, UK size 9--which is equivalent to a US size 10, but they seem to run a little large (or did, anyway; mine were made in England, and they're made in China these days, so I have no idea whether the fit has changed thanks to differences in manufacture).

51. but just barely
I'm a guy with feet that are bigger and narrower than average, and finding shoes in regular shoe stores can be a challenge. Usually there are literally three or four pairs to choose from, and that's it. Even at specialty shoe stores it's difficult to find something a lot of the time. For example, most manufacturers do not make half-sizes above size 12, so you are out of luck if you wear a 12 1/2, or 13 1/2, or 14 1/2, etc.

Once I find a pair of shoes that fits, I literally wear them until they fall apart.

52. You would think manufacturers would get a clue.
People are getting taller and along with that it means our feet are getting bigger. Everyone in my family has big feet. It can be tough for me to find nice dress shoes that have some little bit of comfort. I do what you do... I wear shoes until they just don't have any more life to them.
