I guess I chose the wrong week to shave my....
legs.
It's too cold to wear a skirt, now.
Nah. It's never too cold wear a skirt. I'll just have to wear my knee boots tonight, for extra coverage! Who else has big TGIF plans?:bounce:

2. Is it still snowing?
Tell it to cut it out! I'm going to be in Minnesota the first week of June and it had BETTER be sunny and warm or someone's gonna hear about it! :grr:

10. Not yet it ain't
but it is 41° and rainy in Minneapolis/St Paul. Rumour has it northern WI may get some snow tonight...

I think we had summer already, and we've moved on into fall. It was in the 70s and 80s the last half of April-- that must have been summer.

Guess I'd better pack my parka and mukluks. ~sigh~ Why couldn't that kid of mine come out to California to get married?

15. Don't worry, it'll be nice by then
This is some weird fluke, IMHO. I live and work in St. Paul, and it's usually "not too bad" this time of year, in MinnesotaSpeak.

8. Yeah, I'm lucky in that I get out fairly early,
except it seems that everyone (both my friends at college and my friends at home) are already finished, and I have these two pain-in-the-ass finals in front of me (including the last math class I'll ever have to take...I'm not a math person, so I've been waiting for this for almost two decades.).

Four hours from now, I'll be a much more cheerful person. :bounce:

9. thank god
I finished my math fall quarter after finishing psych stats 2. If it makes you feel better, I have two midterms next week, and I probably won't get a summer job since all the other schools let out a month before us

Nothing too big, except the drive home (1 hour) might be extra-special-pleasant given how tired I've been this week.

dunno if that qualifies as big Friday plans.

you can get the leather skirt out to go with the boots! That's what I would do if it were cold. ;)

I'd be thrilled to get a new couch! I don't have a leather skirt, so my denim one will probably have to suffice.

42. I have a few
from my club days and "buying stuff on Friday" madness....

I would have thought you would have a purple one, or somethin. ;)

We haven't ever bought a new couch, always had old ones, or hand-me downs or saved from houses at which we used to party. So it is a big deal. Except that the h has to assemble it - it's a futon couch. He was determined and didn't want to spend the $25 bucks for them to assemble it.... so he and the kid can do that tonight. I'm staying out of it!

I had a bad dream that woke me up in the middle of the night and it was a long time getting back to sleep. Add the rest of the work week to that and I'm exhausted. :boring:

20. A whopping
one mile. Same city, same zip code, same size house. But whereas our old house is the typical 1970 raised ranch with no closet space and in a neighborhood where we would not recoup any signficant new construction, the new purchase is 2 years old, has a hot tub, a 14x6 walk-in master closet, behind the wall wired surround sound and a hell of a lot of other nice extras. Plus we just bought this little bundle of 50-inch goodness

35. I wouldn't say big plans
The man is buying a bottle of whiskey after work tonight, since my 21st is on a Sunday and we can't buy alcohol on Sundays in Indy... So we are pretty much gonna be drunk tonight... tomorrow night... maybe even Sunday night if we aren't too exhausted.
WHile he is at work though, (until 11:30pm) I'll be doing the usual... cleaning house, posting in the Lounge, reading GD, and hanging with my dog. :D
