Earthquake!!! Richmond Va. I think
Just a few minutes ago. Everyone came out in the hall and we all looked at each other. One of my co-workers had a picture fall off of a shelf.

My wife just called me, she works about 15 miles west of here. They felt it too, the plants on her window seal shifted.

Probably nothing serious but we just aren't used to that.

3. i've been trying to post on this too (but couldn't figure out how)
I felt it in Arlington, VA, as did my folks about 4 miles away, as did Don and Mike on their radio show in Fairfax (only 20 or so miles away I guess), but jeez the radio is saying Richmond etc.

Woah! Thought maybe Cheney was digging another hidey hole...

How in the world do you start a message thread?

12. Look at the top of the
page. Click on "post" and type your message. You have to be in a forum, but not already in a thread to begin a new thread.

13. yeah, we're about halfway between
Hillsborough and Chapel Hill, and our house shook mildly. The chimney made some noise and dolo amber's drink did the Jurassic Park dance. Local news only says "there may have been an earthquake."

14. If they felt it in WTOP country, then Durham is almost as close
Assuming it IS centered on that Cracker Barell.

9. I felt our office shake
at around 4:00pm for just a couple of seconds. They're doing construction work in the street outside so I assumed it was something to do with that... but I guess it might not have been...

25. That's close to my parents... and I can't reach them on landline or cell.
We used to live in SoCal, so 4.5 is really nothing (a 6.0 is about 50 times as strong), but I can't believe there are phone problems!?

21. There was a small earthquake in Norman, Oklahoma yesterday..
everyone thought that it must have been a result of OU being selected to play in the Sugar Bowl for the national championship....thought the gods must have be unhappy with the decision of the BCS.

Just found out from my stepfather. That is a little west of the epicenter so no problem there.
