I had an XBOX, but the lack of GOOD racing games totally blew. Sega GT2002, shit, I could beat that final level in every single car available without even getting touched :eyes:

My SO has CARS that cost less than that...

I'm a desktop computer gaming man myself.

My son is obsessed with the Legend of Zelda games and they're only available on Nintendo consoles.

Will be on the Gamecube so you will get off without having to buy the Wii.

and moved it to the Wii? That'd be cool if it's on the Gamcube, as it would save me a ton of money.

But it still will be on the Gamecube. I suppose that they think that the Wii won't be in wide enough circulation, and they have already spent enough money on development to abandon it. There are enough people that already own a Gamecube, or can get one for $99, that they will be able to move more units at 49.99 apiece with that.

I'm hoping for $199.

They are going to release both version of the game on the same date that the Wii is released.

thought about waiting until E3 was over, but now I'm glad I did? $600 for the top version (PS3)??? Think about it, if you get a PS3, extra controller, 1 or 2 games, you're looking at $700-$800! that's pretty insane

If the PS3 ever drops in price I might consider getting one, but it depends on the games. One of the main reasons I got the original XBox was because of the games. Just not into a lot of the stuff on the PS2/3

now, if only 'Mass Effect' and 'Gears of War' were out.......

as for the Wii, it does look intesting and fun to play

Sorry, but the linear storylines that Japanese RPGS force you through don't do it for me.

I've spent 150 hours with Oblivion (bought it on day of release) and I've only completed 4 of the primary story missions and a few faction missions. The rest of the time has been just doing a few misc. quests and exploring the game world.

Word is the first expansion pack is due out by the end of the year. Hell, if they keep this up I may not need to buy that many more games for the 360.

Baring any unforeseen financial situations I do plan on getting the PS3 as well although I'll probably let the launch frenzy die off a bit before picking one up.

I want one of those so bad...Elder Scrolls IV looks sweet...also, I'd get it for Halo 3.

The big thing for me too is the price of the system. The 360 costs 1/2 the price as the new PS3 will cost ($300-$400 vs $600). But geez...for that price, you'd be better off getting a brand new computer!

It's a bit strange. I guess I just think things are moving too quickly. I mean, you can watch DVDs on the thing, listen to MP3s, browse the internet, etc... The days of just popping in the cartridge and playing are dead it seems. Although the Nintendo Wii seems to be concentrating more on the interaction and game play than the fancy graphics and capabilities which is good.

Because it will come with a Blu-Ray player in it. We will see what format will take off, but my money is on the Blue-Ray for the next generation of Video Discs, but it will all depend on what the porn industry will pick.
