Weren't there Cybermice, too?

Daleks were bad enough, but the Cybermen terrified me.

So I didn't regularly watch Dr Who until I got a bit older and properly appreciated Jon Pertwee's humor and characterization. I never got into it at all once Tom Baker and whoever else took over, because the appeal for me was less the sci-fi aspect of it (the notoriously awful British special effects didn't help much...I couldn't even watch Blake's 7 because the FX were so distracting in their horridityness) and almost entirely appreciation for the flair of old Worzel Gummidge...
