4. Since we're at war
I'd like to see Metallica's "One" video again. For those of you too young to remember, it had footage from the movie Johnny Get Your Gun. If that vid had regular airplay, I'm sure there might be a few people who would think twice about war.

Guns and Roses "November Rain" might have to be up there.

8. "Where The Streets Have No Name" by U2
But I'm also fond of all of Madonna's videos. I feel she's a very underrated artist.

I also think that Depeche Mode's series of videos for "Music for the Masses" are very well done.

And you can't beat the B-52's for color and fun in their videos.

19. I was in LA that day when they shot the video
I remember watching the news and seeing all the commotion. I loved that it was all kept in the video.

10. Thanks for posting that.
Did you ever get a copy of the great DVD of Cowsills TV clips (with a very funny commentary disc featuring Bob and Paul) from cowsill.com? They were selling those to help Billy pay his medical expenses, and you can probably still get one.

My favorite clip off of that one is of the band doing "Anything Changes" on the Barbara McNair show, Paul playing organ and singing, Bob and Barry on guitars (Barry with a very fine looking Rickenbacker), and Susie go-go dancing up on this weird platform silhouetted by this moon-themed spotlight. John somewhat insouciantly playing drums like he lived on that drum stool, which of course he did for many years.

13. Barry Cowsill

http://www.minorcon.org/cowsill1.html

January 5, 2006
Barry Cowsill, identified by dental records, has not survived the ravages of Hurricane Katrina, nor the storm that tore at his soul for so many years. A Minor Consideration sends out its heartfelt sympathy to the Cowsill Family who did all they could to help their talented kin. We would especially like to thank Lauren Chapin who, with her church group, did so much to help the hurricane victims at the risk of her own health, and Michael Satterwhite, our first Webmaster, who from Houston prowled the many shelters in his area...and last but not least, our own Eddie Hodges who was himself missing for 19 days but cared for his parents in devastated Long Beach, Mississippi, his patients and other victims as he stayed on the lookout for Barry. To all those who cared for Barry, remember, nothing is lost so long as memory serves.

---on a lighter note, it's strange how much Susan looks like Bjork---

---lighter still, here's a personal youtube favorite:
