Funniest classical pieces you know of?
I was reminded of this this morning, my sister, (a metalhead,) was over at my place and I had on Haydn's "Surprise" symphony on my CD player.

Mona got surprised, all right! :D

What other funny classical pieces can you think of?
I have Strauss' "Perpetual Motion" on CD too.

2. One of Luciano Berio's Sequenzas.
It sounds like the singer is having an orgasm during her performance - perhaps it was written that way as it was for his wife.

Shostakovich's War Symphonies - suddenly in the middle of these massive symphonies written as the Nazis invaded the Soviet Union (where he lived) the tune turns bouncy.

Les Mamaelles de Tiresias by Poulenc, the whole thing is a bit bizarre (the translation of the title is "Tiresias' Breasts) - I don't have the libretto so I can'tcheck, but on the edition I've got I would swear that part way through the dialogue has the line "la situation de viagra".

Parts of the Turangalila Symphony by Messiaen - he was a great fan of the ondes Martinot (an early synthesiser) which can produce perfect glassandi.

The whole of the role of Ptolomey in Handel's Giulio Cesare, plus the fact that these days the role of Ceasar himself has to be taken by a woman (it was originally written for castrato :scared: ).
