1. 61.2 degrees and the barometer is fallin'.
We've got a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms in ole Charm City tonight, so it's a good thing the O's already lost, 'cause otherwise they'd've been rained out.

:hi:

I really have been watching too much teevee today.

16. I have very few obsessions in life.
Politics, weather, and space night on The Science Channel. :D

19. Not baseball?

I could hang with Space Night... as long as there was some Monty Python afterward. :bounce:

20. Baseball falls into the love category
which is much larger than the obsession category. Then there is like, tolerate, and hate. Perhaps a few subcategories in there somewhere. :D

And there can be Monty Python anytime, but Space Night is only on Tuesdays.

12. I don't keep score, just like Ty Webb.
I was a single today. Played with 3 other guys I'd never met before. I only keep score when I play with my friends so we can settle up our $5 per man bet.

Judge Smails: Ty, what did you shoot today?
Ty Webb: Oh, Judge, I don't keep score.
Judge Smails: Then how do you measure yourself with other golfers?
Ty Webb: By height.

5. That sounds rather hellish.
You must be somewhere near Palm Springs, I'm guessing, eh?

75F here, mostly sunny with a few scattered clouds. Went out for a drive with the top down earlier.

17. Part of the state I'm not familiar with, then.
When I lived in CA I pretty much stayed in the Bay Area (and I don't think it ever got as high as 94 the whole time I was there).

The way the weather's been here, we probably won't see temperatures in the 90's till at least June (but the humidity makes things pretty unpleasant around 80-85).

The fog cleared out early, and now it's just gorgeous! Probably just over 70 degrees....and SUNNY!

I have the windows open for a lovely cross-draft in my study, and I can hear the birds singing....

Perfect......
