AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGHHH!!! I need! To! Vent!!!
Let me begin by saying...aah, screw it...here's some smileys: x( x( x( ;( ;(  :puke:  :puke: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :hurts: :hurts: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke:

A few more :argh:s for good measure
:argh: :argh: :argh:

:argh:

OK, now let me continue by saying that I would sell my soul to be able to punch Bill Gates in the face for five minutes right now. :grr:

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE WINDOWS!!! Did I mention I hate it? Because I HATE WINDOWS!!!!

I thought computers were supposed to make life easier! :wtf: Instead, I tell you, it'll be a miracle if I pull off a 3.0 GPA this quarter. :(

So, yeah. April 28-May 14, 2006. WORST DAYS EVER!!!

Get cheated on, dump girlfriend, lose friendship, discover massiver knot in neck that won't FUCKING GO AWAY!! (:grr:), classes suck, everything gets done as last minute crap work because I can't focus on shit. At this point the only thing going for me is the sandwich sitting in front of me and I can barely straighten my neck up enough to swallow it. x(

This is what we call a "George Bailey moment" (that was his name, right? Jimmy Stewart in It's A Wonderful Life, Clarence I want to live again and all that? George Bailey, right?). What would the world be like if I didn't exist or if someone teleported me off this rock? Not much different, I would think. x(

Sorry for being so depressing and manic, I just had to get it out before I put a foot through the computer screen. Fortunately, I'm away from the animation lab and back in my room with my reliable iBook that doesn't crap out on me every time I try to do a Boolean Union operation on two simple pieces of geometry because the crappy architecture can't handly any math more complicated than 2+2. ACK! MICROSOFT = BASTARDS!! :grr:

2. I'm finding the
:argh: smiley particularly apt today. It really is what I feel like doing to all the computers here.

Oh, yeah, and my e-mail won't let me send anything again. x(

5. The damn thing's due tomorrow.
I finally managed to get my part done an hour ago. I just have to get the stuff to my teammates so they can stick it together with their parts, but without e-mail, I don't know how I can send the file. :(

8. I'd have to burn a 48K file to a 700MB CD.
Talk about a waste of space.

I lost my jump drive months ago. x(

13. You have to appreciate the comedy in days like that.
I once had a day when, after staying up all night after a party like a moron, I went to get ready for a job interview--and my car was stolen. Borrowed a friend's one-speed bike and rode 6 miles in the July sun, did the interview in a daze, rode home, got a phone call an hour later to start working immediately, rode the damn bike back, worked a ten hour shift on a saturday night at a busy restaurant in a zombie-like state, and then, slowly peddling home on the bike in an advanced state of exhaustion and dehydration, got hit by an idiot in a chevy blazer. I found myself lying in the middle of an intersection, bike folded in half under the truck...laughing my ass off. It was like some dark comic had written a screenplay and I was living it. The cops thought I had a concussion. Rode to the hospital, sat around for several hours, got a bunch of x-rays, and wound up limping a mile home at 7am because I was broke. Got home, and my roommate laughed mercilessly at my appearance and story. The capper was when I called the new boss and told hime why I couldn't make it to work that day. "Yeah, right," he barked, and hung up. I never even got my paycheck for that day. In the end, I couldn't deny that the whole thing was kind of hilarious. I think being able to laugh at these "why me?" moments makes them easier to survive without blowing a gasket.

15. It's hilarious when it happens to someone else.
:D

But, no, I'd be laughing at the events of today if I wasn't already in emotional pain from other recent events. :(

14. Get a Mac.
It's *nix for the masses and definitely worth the cost if you're not wanting to mess with needless details. I'd do so myself, but I'm only good at needless details. :D

I just wish I could convince my university to get more Macs. x( They have, like, three, and they're only for movie editing.

17. Sometimes the only thing that will work is:
the primal scream therapy!!!

Oh, and that thing on your neck? It's probably tension, no?

PS, You make me glad I'm out of college, even if I do have a low paying job.

19. Primal Scream Therapy = Noise Violation
If I get written up again this year, I might get kicked out. (The first time was for something I didn't even do...the dorm management are total dicks, too, did I mention that?)

The thing on my neck is, if not tension, is definitely exacerbated by it. :(

21. I used to scream in a pillow...
or in my car. That worked! I don't do it as much anymore. It's hard on the voice, anyway.

And I think I might freak out my roommate a bit if I started screaming into my pillow. :(

26. I think the only thing that would really help would be superpowers.
Specifically, the power to slow down/speed up/reverse time at will. :(
