NTSC/PAL dvd question...
If I have a Region 0 (region free) dvd, but it's NTSC, can it be played on European dvd players?

1. the DVD player must be able to do PAL/NTSC conversion
otherwise it will look funny (more scan lines in PAL than NTSC).

3. Scan lines and frames-per-second (FPS)
Though the latter is probably fine; the image would definitely look stretched vertically.

5. Multiformat VCRs and DVD players are way more common (and cheaper)
outside the US. Odds are good that you'd be set.

Computers will play both broadcast formats, too...at least, my Mac does with no problem.

I've used both on a computer, but I'm not sure my friend would want to be stuck watching the dvd on her computer, haha.
