2. What a pair of bubbleheads.
It just goes to show that limited intelligence and unlimited money are a very bad combination. Not since Travolta's 'Battlfield Earth' Scientology debacle has such feeble ideology been committed to celluloid.

Why can't Brangelina just go away?

7. Oh goody.
Let's make a more superficial movie of a superficial book by a demented, mean and superficial White Russian harpy who spent her life creating the scumbags who run our country and our corporations.

I am so thrilled, I could just wet myself.

25. "Long-winded pile of pseudo-intellectual excrement" is even better...

(Actually, make that "Incredibly long-winded pile of pseudo-intellectual excrement" for full truth-in-advertising compliance. And, yes, I have read the book. Fortunately, it was after high-school, so I'd already learned how to think, and was thus immune to Rand's usual trick of passing off supercilious, name-calling rhetoric as a substitute for logic. Unfortunately, not all were so lucky...and most of them can now be found filling up the ranks of neo-con institutions.)

22. Don't be intimidated!
I liked the book when I read it back in high school, definitely interesting. Some people around here don't seem to understand you can learn things from books that you may not totally agree with.

26. BTW, does anyone know if this is serious...?
The tabloid-like nature of the cover, plus the "have we sold out?" banner, makes me wonder if this is either a tongue-in-cheek cover for an issue of the magazine that has nothing to do with what's on the front, or else someone else's parody mock-up.

I also notice that this is from several months ago. I'd be surprised if the first we heard about it was three months after the magazine's "expiration date."
