1. It seems derogatory to me.
Especially when used in reference to a woman or that specific portion of a woman's anatomy. I try not to use it.

3. Yeah, using it is NEVER a good idea.
But is don't consider every derogatory word or name a cuss word.

5. Is it one of those words banned from airwaves?
I would imagine so, as I've never heard it on TV.

The philologist and linguist in me just says it's an ugly sounding word just based on its phonetics anyway (yeah, I'm a nerd). But still...:puke:...gross word.

6. I consider it offensive
And won't use it. And, if anyone else uses it around me, I make sure they understand it's offensive.

Oddly enough, it doesn't bother me as much when it's written.

7. it doesn't bother me
i use it quite often. on the whole, i try to not let words have power over me (racial slurs aside)

it's just a word and yes, it refers to a part of my body, but i'm taking it back and making it my own

9. Define "cuss." George Carlin has great take on the 7 Dirty Words.
I believe the word in question is on it.

10. Locking
And yes. From the rules:

When discussing race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, or other highly-sensitive personal issues, please exercise the appropriate level of sensitivity toward others and take extra care to clearly express your point of view.

Do not post messages that are bigoted against (or grossly insensitive toward) any person or group of people based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, lack of religion, disability, physical characteristics, or region of residence.

While specific words are not automatically forbidden, members should avoid using racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise bigoted terminology. This includes gender-specific terms such as "cunt," "whore," "slut," "skank," or "pussy," and terms with homophobic derivation, such as "cocksucker," which are often inflammatory and inappropriate.
