14. I like the explanation of corporations as psychotic.
Sheer brilliance.

3. No. They are a group of people who tell others what to do.
A group is not a person.

It is a group of people.

That is something the Founding Fathers would not have wanted... or have guessed; they didn't have big corporate brands at the time either.

4. No, a coporation can just be one or two people. Most are.
I'd be willing to bet that most corporations and LLCs are for small businesses, with a single owner.

6. That's correct.
Most corporations and LLCs are owned by one or two people.

8. Not in all ways, though
I mean, I know people who've been married to their work, but I don't think that it's legal to marry a corporation.

9. There's a distinction between a natural person and artificial person.
Edited on Tue May-16-06 01:20 PM by primate1
You can't stab a corporation in the face the way you could a natural person, but corporations are treated by law as an individual for certain purposes (lawsuits, property ownership and contracts, mostly).

Certain rights and laws only apply to natural persons or legal persons, but for all intents and purposes, corporations are treated as a single person by the law.

I'm still trying to figure out a way to stab corporations in the face, actually.
