I mean, you could look at it from a perspective that they might be looking at it as though they think you did it as a "favor" to them, but I don't think they would necessarily mean it like that. I've said that too. I've been known after a really good session to say thank you, and that's to my husband and I'll tell you, I could sure use a nice "thank you" in return especially when I deal with __________________________. When it's good, sometimes, that's all tha comes into your mind. Sometimes I suppose it's positive reinforcement when it's been done properly.
