Since when do businesses tout their "integrity"?
Edited on Wed May-17-06 11:04 AM by underpants
This hit me the other day after the third commercial in a row (don't ask what I was doing actually watching commercials) talked about their "integrity". Two were car dealership commercials and one was a home improvement/flooring company. I understand that both of those lines of business are notorious for flyby-night operations and shysters.

Is NOT being a crook a badge of honor now?
Is this some sort of code?

1. Nah.
Everyone knows they're crooks, and they're hoping that if they can convince someone that they're not crooks, that their sales numbers will go up.

It's the same thing as when Republicans talk about "preserving freedom."
