Dove Energy Glow lotion-best stuff ever!
It's a moisturizer that gradually adds color. I've used it for three days now and am two shades darker than before-not orange, just a nice glow. And not shiny either.

I love this stuff! Anyone else using it?

1. They also make an awesome skin-firming cream.
Works on the cellulite and even the tiny wrinkles in my arms.

3. I love Dove products.
They are gentle enough for me to use daily and inexpensive. I use their deodorant because it doesn't break me out, compared to most brands.

I'll have to check out the firming cream!

5. I do like it
but I've found that I have to switch shampoos often because of build up.

6. I use the 'intense moisture' one...
because it seems to give my very fine hair lots of body. My haircut needs the volumne to hold the sleek line. Like you, I do switch off - maybe every 3rd, 4th shampoo - to something else.

I want to try the product that gives the glow! I can't "do" sun, even though I'm at the beach.

9. I received four free samples from a family member
over the weekend. I just started it and have already gone out to buy a bottle. I can't tan either-I burn, blister and freckle.

The first day it seemed like nothing happened. I tried it the second day just to see. Later I put on some foundation and realized it was already the wrong color-too light to match.

It's gradual and doesn't look orange. I love it already.

10. Sounds great.
I had tried Jergens which had very good reviews but I thought it left some 'spots'. That, coupled with having had skin cancer, scared me off. Just got my latest clean bill on that issue so I'm ready to try again. :)

11. This has gone on quite smooth.
And a few self tanners felt gloppy and greasy while this felt like lotion. I must admit: I did strip down in front of my mirror tonight and checked everything out. My chest looks fantastic, compared to the normal sunburned look it would have from the beach or a bed.

Do wash your palms immediately or you will get the orange palm effect.

8. If you wash them w/ soap and water immediately afterward
they don't. I let it set once for a half hour(phone call) and they did turn a bit orange. Nail polish remover took it right off.

14. Works great.
See if you can still find a sample out there. It came w/ a sample size bottle and some decent coupons. One of the coupons was for a $1.50 off.

13. I've used the CVS Jergens-knock-off
and been, largely, pleased.

Gets a bit orangey if you apply it three days in a row. I use it VERY lightly on my knees and elbows, and wash my hands after application, and have had NO streaks or anything at all. If you use it once every two or three days, it's good. Helps keep a real tan going, too.

Ca-ching. $0.02

15. I used the Jergens
but like this better. It seems to go on better and I'm still not orangy.

Keep an eye out for the samples. The samples I received included a coupon for $1.50 off which came up cheaper than the Jergens and even the generics.

18. Cool. I'm getting it!
I am about to run out of the CVS stuff.

And I'm trying that firming cream, too. Never heard ANYONE say ANY of those actually worked.

19. Keep an eye out for the samples.
They had the really good coupons.

The Jergens ran me about $8 while the Dove w/ the coupon cost about $6.00. The Dove has a huge line of the energy glow-lotions, facial and soaps.

And next payday I will be picking up the firming cream also.

20. My mom and I are both hooked.
She said that it's adding a nice, gradual color to her legs while mine is really nice on my face and my chest-my two hardest areas to tan.

I gave a sample to a coworker the same day I received my ton o' samples and she tried it too. She IM'ed me this afternoon and said she was running to the store to buy the full-sized bottle.

21. I use Listerine Whitening, also after reading about it here.
I used Crest Whitestrips to do the initial whitening, and I use the Listerine and Crest Vivid White toothpaste to maintain the look and help prevent new stains.

Sounds like a good way to maintain the Whitestrips.
