Edward Norton Appreciation Thread!

What a cool, talented, intelligent, liberal, and beautiful man he is.

He was on the Charlie Rose show the other night, talking about his latest film, and acting in general, and I thought: "I could just listen to this guy talk for hours." He's so passionate about what he does, and so articulate...ahhhh...I just love him. :loveya:

Any other Ed Norton fans out there??? Profess your love here!

9. Wasn't he great in that?
I wasn't expecting much from that movie, but Norton's subtle, yet immensely powerful performance really impressed me. And I think a lot of people didn't even realize it was actually Edward Norton playing that part. He's such a brilliant actor...a real chameleon, too. I love that he has chosen such diverse, challenging roles...it definitely keeps me watching and waiting to see what he will do next!

Fight Club, American History X, 25th Hour, I have heard a nasty rumour that he is an egomanic which came to light during the Score. I hope the rumour was unfounded. He did do a couple of cycles for American History X...

21. Primal Fear...
One of my favorite movies of all time. I believe he was nominated for an best supporting oscar for that role - what an incredible actor he is.

22. Yes, he's from Baltimore
Well, actually he's from Harford County. His grandfather was James T. Rouse, the man who built Columbia, Maryland and HarborPlace.

I've only seen two of his movies -- American History X and Primal Fear -- and he was excellent in both of them. American History X -- along with Born On the Fourth of July -- is on my list of films that I consider essential viewing for adolescents.

23. My friends and I had an "Edward Norton Club" at our high school last year
It was the largest club in school in terms of technical membership, but few people came to meetings. People just joined because it seemed vaguely anti- establishment. We disbanded when the administration found out that the point of the club was basically to schedule meetings at the same time as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
