Part of a quote from the Iranian President out the article "Iran Snubs Europe's Nuclear Plan" in today's NYT: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/18/world/middleeast/18iran.html

Walnuts?

This sounds like something out of a kids fable or something. Like swapping a cow for a few beans for people raised on "Jack and the Beanstalk" etc...

Anyone now what, if any, the reference to walnuts comes from?

Don't know why but it struck my curiosity.
