The "Will and Grace" series finale is tonight.

I guess it was sort of groundbreaking, in the sense that gay characters eere spolighted in a regular series. And it had some funny moments.

But I'm glad it's over. I wish it had dealt more with gay issues. And personally, I could wait a long, long, long, long, long, long, long time before seeing Sean Hayes in anything.

1. I wish I could bring myself to care about seeing it, but I can't.

I used to love that show - so funny, so well-written and well-acted. I watched it faithfully, but I haven't been able to get into it the last couple of seasons. I may tune in to the series finale out of curiosity, but it seems to have "jumped the shark" a long while ago.

I loved that show. I thought it wa very funny. Karen was my fave character.
Yes, it didn't deal with many gay issues of importance nor did it portray gay characters in a positive light at times but it didn't deal with straight female issues in a positive way all the time.
I will miss the nuttiness. It always made me laugh.

I quit watching awhile back, but Karen was my favorite, she's such a bitch and it cracks me up! She's my mom's favorite for the same reason. :D

That was a great character. :-)

I can't say that there weren't great moments from "W & G". In fact, the other day WGN reran one of my favorite episodes...the one guest starring Matt Damon. A genuinely funny episode.

It's just that...the show probably should have ended a couple of years ago. Right around the time that Harry Connick Jr was a semi-regular.
