1. I prefer fighters...
but, still, I have to admit there's something about seeing a heavy prop-engined bomber like a Flying Fortress making a low pass over an airfield that gives me a tingle.

(Had a chance to see the only B-29 that's still flying last month, and missed it... :( )

2. I saw the -17 'Sentimental Journey'
do a pass like that. A hundred feet, tops — probably closer to 50. Dog, it was awesome.

Won't have to worry about fighters, either. There's four P-51s that live at the airport here — and one's an A. (Used to be five, but one guy sold his in February.)

Where was that -29? I went inside a static -29 last summer, at Castle Air Museum.

3. Air show at NAS Atlanta.
It's part of the Commemorative Air Force (the B-29 is based out of Texas); they go to probably two dozen or so airshows a year.
