Any Boulder Colorado residents here? I need advice
My in-laws live in Boulder and I want to send them a gift certificate from a restaurant in Boulder..

What would you recommend?

They are older, very refined and love eating and drinking....

I am all ears!

1. I loved Sunflower
it's a great restaurant. The food is superb (and all organic). The atmosphere is great- although not too fancy (hard to find really fancy dining establishments anywhere in Colorado).

2. doesn't have to be too fancy but I want it to be a good place to eat
they are finicky...my mother in law is the type to write poetry about her food experiences...

I haven't been in Boulder in years so I have no clue what is good there..

Thanks for the suggestion ...I may go with it! I will see if they have a web site.

3. Suggestion
We stayed at the Boulerado Hotel. Had a great bar and restaurant. If you got the bucks throw in a room.

5. You might try searching the Denver Post website
They do restaurant reviews each Friday, and feature a summary section of previous reviews as well. If the Boulder Daily Camera has an online edition, that might be a good place to look as well.

6. Sushi Tora?
Seriously unusual Japanese restaurant if they're into that...

Ex-Boulderite now living in Halifax, NS. Why? Well, for one thing I can AFFORD Halifax. :7
