Any ideas on how to make this fat free and low sugar?
The recipe's I've seen calls for heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk
here's the ingredients.
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (like Hershey's) 1 teaspoon coconut extract 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 eggs, beaten or 8 ounces Egg Beaters egg substitute (pasteurized eggs) 1 cup whiskey (please use a good brand; I use Maker's Mark or Knob Creek) 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
What if I take out the egg beaters, and sweetened condensed milk and heavy whipping cream and just use and fat free half and half?
I did try this recipe and it was thick. I added a half a cup of whiskey and fat free milk and it made it a little better. I'm really shooting for something less caloric.
