Why do people respond to an original post with "who cares?"

26. If my threads didn't get rude replies most of them wouldn't
get ANY replies.

It's gotten to the point, now, where I regard the rare positive or encouraging responses with suspicion and mistrust but then I tend to regard MOST things that way so....

9. I've had a few of those....
...it's usually from the same bunch who only value their opinions and nobody else's. Then you read some of the crap they (the rude assholes) post and you think, "Is this what they consider a good post?"

15. Yes, "search" is my friend. I usually run one when I find a rude poster.
Whether they're snarky to me or a Du friend or someone who just plain old didn't deserve it, I do a quick search. Then I jot their name down on the list next to my computer of DUers whom I don't respond to. I use to use the ignore button, but then I missed a lot of threads, so I just keep a short written list.

I've been adding more names to my list in the past few days.

28. The first time I give a person the benefit of the doubt
I try not to get the wrong impression and think I know all about someone with just one post and I certainly don't consider someone who disagrees with me or has a different opinion as being rude. But there are a few who have a chip on their shoulders everyday as they must have miserable pathetic lives and just like to pee on everyone else's parade.

Personally, I don't have anyone on "ignore" but I do ignore them :)
