1. This is hilarious
Microsoft had to use open source because they knew their own product was trash. Now that they've gone back to their own server, maybe some hacker will let them deal with some more of their vulnerabilities.

2. In the early days
MS had a commercial to get out and had to do it on Macs since they couldn't get their stuff to do it right for the deadline.
