I'll be reading a thread, and a banner will pop up across the post so the post is 90% hidden, and won't go away -- even if I read it. It's happened twice with cafepress banners.....

2. You can't let your cursor get anywhere near the rollover ads
Edited on Thu May-25-06 08:14 PM by undisclosedlocation
This used to happen to me all the time at Weather.com especially, which is how I came to stop using them, and at IMDb, where I'm still putting up with it. I'm using Firefox (but not Adblock) and haven't had any problem with this at DU.

Edit: Of course if it isn't a rollover ad and your cursor isn't anywhere near it, than you'd have another problem, and this would doubly recommend Firefox.

8. That has never happened to me on DU.
Do you think you could have ad-ware/spyware?
