1. Can you find the code for your TV on the list of codes?

6. How you input the code is key.
Follow the instructions carefully. Sometimes it sez to hold the "TV" button while keying in the code, sometimes you just press it and key in the code.

8. it says:
1."press hold and code search button until the red indicator remains on, then release the code search button."

2."press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks off once."

3. "press and release the numberic button (0-9) corresponding to the desired Manufactrurer. Note, pressing "0" performs a full library serach same as deivce library code search method."

5. "press the channel up button repeatedly until the device to be controlled changes channel."

6. "press and release mute to install the code."

11. Ahh, you have to "scroll" through all possible codes, which are in memory.
I have had that kind. It takes time so you have to keep hitting the channel up button until you see the channel change.

7. Is the instruction manual written in English?
As opposed to Engrish because I has one of those once and it took days to figure out how to work a fucking drill without accidentally killing the cat. x(

3. Ugh...universal remotes can suck.
The one I bought for my old 13" was never programmed. Every code listed did not work. The code search did not work. It was terrible. My current tv has the original remote. However, I need to put glow tape or something on it. It's a black remote and I have all black bedding. I lose it constantly. It's terrible.

Plus, I'm one of those people that will lose the remote and watch three days straight of religious infomercials instead of using the buttons on the tv, even though I'll pass them 10,000 times.

21. Jack to the rescue.
Message me when you have the time. I'll get your remote to work. PM me with the following information:

1. The manufacturer of the remote and its model number.
2. The make and model of your TV.

It's not as hard as it seems. :)
