I did NOT intend to cut it this short!

My hair's been looking a bit shaggy lately. Time for a trim.

I usually cut my own hair, which is easy to do if you've got electric clippers with guards on them and your hair's real short. Just install a guard, run the clippers over your head until no more hair comes off, then remove the guard, flip the clippers over and trim your neckline and sideburns.

I did the guard work first, then trimmed my sideburns, then attempted to do my neckline. This is damn near impossible to do yourself, so I enlisted my wife. "Okay, honey, just hold the clippers like this (tips pointing down) and go like this (short downward strokes to even out the back of my head). Instead, she held the clippers with tips pointing up and cut a 1/16" long swath from the back of my neck to the top of my head.

I sure as hell couldn't go to work looking like that...Bic time!

Strangely enough, I kinda like it. I think I'll keep it up for a while.

i useually just let mine grow out untill my parents bug me about it(actualy its more like them taking me to the barbor's, we all have long hair). even then i leave it long enough to tie it back with a hair tie
